The Savannah Adventist Christian Early Childhood Center serves children ages 3-5. Children may enter the Preschool program on or after their third birthday. Children must be completely potty trained before they will be accepted for admission into the preschool. Four-year-olds must be four by September 1st of the current school year in order to enter the Pre-K program.
A happy Early Childhood Center experience is preparation for the school years to come. The mission of the Savannah Adventist Christian Early Childhood Center is to help young children gain the confidence they need to become lifelong learners.
A variety of methods will be used in our program including:
Social concepts & Character development
Application of Spiritual truths
In addition, throughout each day, the children will be involved in many learning activities. Some of the activities will include learning numbers, the alphabet, shapes, and colors. Singing and playing will also be an integral part of your three/four-year-old’s day. Your child will learn Bible stories and even memorize Bible verses. Snacks and meal times will be time to learn proper etiquette and learn to be thankful for what God has given them. School Hours
School begins at 8:15 a.m. and is dismissed at 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
We have a family feel to our classrooms and our school, with a maximum of 14 children in each Early Childhood classroom.
Pre-care & After-care Program
Pre-care and after-care supervision is provided from 7–8 a.m. and 3:30–6 p.m. for an additional fee. This can either be applied in a weekly flat rate or on an hourly basis.
Meals, Snacks, and Nap time
Parents are responsible for providing their children with a nutritious lunch each day. SACS will provide snacks for children before lunch and after school. To ease the transistion away from home, parents may wish to provide a blanket and pillow for their child to keep at school for use during naptime.
