Joycie Faison's Bio  Joycie Faison was born in Richmond, Virginia. She is a graduate of Takoma Academy, in Takoma Park MD. She has studied at the college level at universities in Michigan and Alabama but holds no degrees at this time. Mrs. Faison studied at the prestigious Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, the only university in our country dedicated to deaf education.
Mrs. Faison previously owned and operated a Daycare/Pre-School. She spent her recent years working as an Interpreter for the Deaf for the department of Education in two different states and one country outside of the United States of America. Mrs. Faison has seventeen years of experience working in the public school systems as an Interpreter for the Deaf from pre-school to twelfth grade. Her favorite age group has always been young children, below the age of 4.
In her spare time, Mrs. Faison, along with her husband, puts on creative Childrens’ ministries productions. One of her favorites is “The Gospel Puppets.” Through the Faisons' ministry, they have had the opportunity to minister to children in many of the United States, Canada, and The Islands of Bermuda.
Mrs. Faison states, "I find great pleasure in making the Bible come to life for [children]. I am looking forward to this coming school year with great pleasure and excitement. I know that with Gods’ help and the help of such a talented team of teachers already at Savannah Adventist Christian School, we will have a fantastic school year."
